Shera wali Mata s a goodess in Hindu religion. She is one of the incarnations of Parvati who is the wife of Lord Shiva. She rides on a tiger know as Sher in Hindi and hence known as Shera wali mata. She has 8 hands which contain sword, trishul, shankh, Sudarshan chakra, gada,baand.She depicts both masculine and feminine energies. She possess the powers of lord Krishna and lord Shiva.

People tend to worship her in temples of vaishno devi, jhandewalan ji. There are many mythological stories regarding her. She shows that for marriage she can not move an inch and along with that she has also shown that for the peace of earth she can kill demons like mahishasur and many.

Vishnu and Gange are her siblings. Navratri is celebrated for impressing Goddess Durga.
